About

Sirfragalot has been a lifelong gamer, starting back in the early 90s with the NES. From there, he has moved on to Sega Genesis, Game Gear, Game Boy, N64, Game Boy Color, Dreamcast, Game Boy Advance, Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, DS, 360, Wii, Playstation 3, 3DS, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, Switch, Xbox Series X, Playstation 5, Switch 2 and of course PC.

The goal of my streaming is to create a place where people can just come and relax to. I know the world is a divided place, and I just want to create a space where we can come together, put aside differences and just laugh at dumb stuff and have a good time. No politics, just a fun space to unwind.

As for the games I will be streaming, it will be a mix of many genres. I will probably mostly stick to RPGs or more story driven games where I can focus on the story and having fun. Instead of games that focus more on action because I would rather have a story we can enjoy. That doesn't mean I won't ever, but that will be my primary focus at least for the time being.

Systems

NES

The NES was my first game console. It was the one that I have my earlist memories of and the one system where I remember as a child getting up at like 5 AM on weekends just to play it. As a kid, I didn't really have any idea of the whole video game ecosystem so I was happy just to have that.

Favorite Games

Game Gear

At some point in the early 90s, I got a Game Gear. I have fond memories of playing the game gear but never really loving the system. Partially because I had to keep it plugged in 24/7 because it got about 3 minutes of battery life on 6 batteries, and partially because I never had a ton of fantastic Game Gear games.

Favorite Games

Sega Genesis

It was christmas in the early 90s and I got a Genesis. Strangely enough this was the only time in my life where my love for Nintendo was not there. Granted I was about 7-8 years old at the time but I just found the Genesis to be a cool system and the SNES to be kinda lame. Of course now my opinion has changed.

Favorite Games

Game Boy

I got the game boy for my birthday I think in 95 or so. It's kinda crazy how I had such a negative opinion of the Game Gear but the Game Boy, I freaking loved that hand held. This was about the time my love for Nintendo really grew into something that lasts into today. I still remember waking up at like 5 am with my room lights on just so I can see the screen.

Favorite Games

Nintendo 64

It was Christmas either 96 or 97 and my parents got me the Nintendo 64. Now I don't remember if I specifically wanted a N64 but I got one regardless. Now nothing against the N64, as I have fond memories of it and truly loved that system for what it was. Since it was my first taste of a 3D console, I was blown away by it's graphical capabilities (I never played PC games until later).

Favorite Games

Game Boy Color

This was the first system I bought with my own money. I enjoyed it for what it was, and have some good memories with it, but I also knew it wasn't anything spetactular, just a better game boy.

Favorite Games

Sega Dreamcast

So there was a time before I got my PS2 that I owned a Dreamcast. I sold the Dreamcast to afford my PS2 but I did have a Dreamcast. I really thought it was a unique system with a lot to offer. The VMU unit was cool since it was like a little handheld.

Favorite Games

Game Boy Advance

Of course since I owned a Game Boy and a Game Boy Color, the next logical step was a Game Boy Advance. In 2001 I got my Game Boy Advance. It truly was an important system for me because just like with my PS2, it was the first system I discovered my deep love of RPG games. Until my GBA, the first RPG's I played were Pokemon Red and Pokemon Gold and at the time I never really thought of them as RPGs. It was here, I found one of my favorite genres. As for a handheld, I thought it was fantastic, because there were so many great games on the system.

Favorite Games

Playstation 2

The system that changed my life. Was it a video game system, sure. But this was the system I really fell in love with RPGs. This is important to note because I fell in love with the logic, the critical thinking of RPGs and as I grown, I realized oh, computer programming is using in a way those critical thinking and logic skills. Now of course it's leagues different but the idea was there. Either way the PS2 was really an incredible system. It has a mix of everything I wanted in gaming at the time, and just offered an wonderful gaming experience.

Favorite Games

Nintendo Gamecube

A year or so later I got a Nintendo Gamecube. I thought it was a decent system and it had some great games but it never really reached the highs of the PS2 for me. It was just a system to play a few games on that I couldn't on the PS2. Not that's a bad thing, we're talking Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, etc but it's still a thing to note.

Favorite Games

Xbox

So my dad got a Xbox for himself but of course I could also use it. The Xbox was a good system, but considering I played a lot more Japanese games at the time, the PS2 was my system of choice. However I do owe the Xbox to discovering Morrowind, my first true Western RPG and I fell in love with it.
